María Castellanos and Alberto Valverde undertake an artistic residency at CREAF
June–December 2026

María Castellanos and Alberto Valverde are undertaking an artistic research residency at CREAF –Centre for Ecological Research and Forestry Applications– from June to December 2026.
During the residency, the artists explore the relationships between art, science, and ecology in collaboration with researchers Kate M. Johnson, Marc Busuldu, and Jordi Martínez Vilalta, with the support and curatorial guidance of artist and researcher Paula Bruna.
Through interdisciplinary dialogue and experimentation with environmental research processes and tools, they explore new ways of approaching the relationships between technology and ecosystems.
